Sportrock Climbing Centers is a chain of climbing gyms in the Northern Virginia area. Sportrock started working with HARNESS in 2017 after reading an article we wrote for the Climbing Business Journal. Impressed by our marketing expertise, the gym’s internal marketing team felt we greatly complemented their current efforts. Sportrock President Lillian Chao-Quinlan was initially hesitant because of our unique marketing process. She wasn’t confident that video marketing and content like blogs would get the desired results. However, her team convinced her because they needed the help. They were far too many hats (as is all too familiar in climbing gyms). Now, she will be more than happy to tell you she is no longer a skeptic! One of the things that Lillian always said was that she loved that HARNESS was a constant in her business. Young marketing directors would come and go from her organization, but HARNESS was always there to help her train the next marketing employee and get them up to speed.
